Last year, I was practically over the moon when I got my hands on this dress. I have always been a huge fan of off the shoulder silhouettes (I don't think there's a way to avoid that if you had Barbies in the 80s-early 90s), but for some reason, the look had gone out of style when I became old enough to buy my own clothes. When I ran into this off the shoulder dress online, I thanked my lucky stars for the internet. As much as many of the garments that can be found on Asian webshops can be crap, there really are gems to be found there. And the Asian market seems to be filled with women who enjoy a really girly aesthetic, as evidenced by this adorable dress.

Anyhoo, last year, this was a lucky find. This summer, however, off the shoulder items seem to be everywhere, and I'm stoked! I already bought two off the shoulder tops on Zalando: this Warehouse off the shoulder top, and this one by Miss Selfridge (they're both on sale, so check em out if you're as crazy about off the shoulder as I am). At first I was going to keep just one, but then my sister convinced me that I needed both and she was right so I did. And if I'm perfectly honest, I also have my eye on this romantic Vila dress. Ima be on that shit like bees on honey when it goes on sale.

Shopping issues, I sometimes have 'em. But seeing how much I love this dress, I can't be mad at myself. It just looks so cute!

Btw, I've been making some subtle changes around here: I've started shooting in raw (HUGE difference) and I traded my Canon 450D for a 5D (even huger change): second hand, so very affordable, but now I can work with a full frame camera and I'm am so, so stoked. These two small things have totally renewed my interest in the production side of blogging, and I'm hoping you'll see the difference.

Have a great weekend!
